Simply Music is an

Hi, my name is Mary Dahlia, also known locally as “The Music Meri”, and I am excited to add the Simply Music curricula to my offerings. I've been teaching Kindermusik classes to young children (newborn to 7 year olds) for the past 11 years, as well as some traditionally based piano lessons to a small handful of students. I learned to play the piano as a child, and some of my Kindermusik graduates have begged me to take them on as piano students, but I resisted until now. Traditional lessons tended to be painful and frustrating for both the students and me, and I’ve always loved the Kindermusik philosophy that music should be FUN.

Finally there is a curricula that does just that! Simply Music is a unique piano learning approach unlike any other. It breaks down the complexity of music into shapes, patterns, single thought processes and a whole host of other "tools" that is the methodology of Simply Music. Learning to play piano doesn't have to be hard and painful. In fact, it can be easy and fun with Simply Music from day one.

In contrast to traditional methods, which are "reading based" approaches, Simply Music is a “playing based" approach. As such you'll be able to play great sounding songs immediately in various musical styles: pop, classical, blues, accompaniment and arrangement.
